Bani’s Book Club presents: Mindful Drawing with Sahar Mirzaei
Date: September 21st, 2024
Time:
11am PST
Guest Speaker: Sahar Mirzaei
I’m so excited to have you join our mindful drawing workshop! We’ll be spending around 30-45 minutes of our time drawing together, and to make the most of it, I’d like to share a few things to help you prepare.
What You’ll Need:
Please have a pen and a piece of paper ready. I recommend using a pen because it’s a tool we’re all familiar with, and we’ve all experienced the simplicity and ease of making marks on paper with it.
Other Mediums:
If you prefer to use a pencil or another medium, such as watercolor or colored pencils, that’s perfectly fine too! The key is to choose something you’re comfortable with and familiar with—something where you already know how it behaves on paper. You’re welcome to apply the same mindful drawing approach we’ll explore using whichever materials you feel drawn to.
A Few Notes:
Remember, this workshop is all about letting go of judgment and enjoying the process. Whether you’re using a pen, pencil, or paintbrush, there is no right or wrong, no mistakes—just creativity and curiosity.
I look forward to drawing with you and discovering the beauty of the moment together.
